Another big week this week.
This episode we talk with Mark Lloyd from the Australian Computer Society on their plans for a mandatory registration system, similar to that of doctors and laywers. We try to find out how this is going to affect the FOSS community.
We also speak with Melissa Draper from team ubuntu-au, one of the more successful Ubuntu LoCo teams.
Apologies for the sound quality during Melissa's interview.

This week we have been lucky enough to catch up with Senator Kate Lundy, former shadow minister for IT and current shadow minister for sport. We also catch up with Bret from the small Northern Territory community of Lingarra. They recently received a shipment of PC's from Computerbank Victoria and are ready to tackle some of the social problems they are experiencing.

Well despite going to air on Friday night instead of Wednesday, we have a full segment for you this week.
We have a chat with Mark Kowarsky about the new australian gentoo irc channel and his plans to help grow the australian gentoo community.
We then move on to cover the two big stories of the week, at least in our community. Firstly we hear from both sides of the AUUG story, with an interview with Greg Lehey, who has suggested that AUUG may be at a point where it needs to be wound up, then we hear from Greg Black, an AUUG member who feels that while AUUG has problems these are not insurmountable and rather than be wound up, AUUG should be saved.
Open Source On The Air - LA Update
An interesting one this week. We catch up with Egil Moller from the Pirate Party and have a chat about what it is, and the controversial copyright changes they are proposing.
