Ubuntu - Australian "LoCo Team" Created

Jeff Waugh, Canonical employee/Gnome hacker and Ubuntu's chief Business and Community development guy, has announced the launch of the the Autralian LoCo (Local Community) team.

The team, a group of dedicated Ubuntu fans and hackers based in Australia, has been set up to help promote the much lauded debian based operating system. Led by Yuki Cuss, a melbourne based teenager with a passion of Free and Open Source Software, the group has identified three key areas - Home, School and Business - that they will be targeting.

Yuki Cuss can be heard in the upcoming episode of the Linux Australia Update, giving a more detailed run down on the team and what they hope to achieve.
